Description Bat House “Condo” FREE Pewter Bat Pin Reduce your risk for West Nile and Zika Virus Our triple chamber bat house “Condo” is our largest residential bat house and is ideal for establishing nursing colonies which will return year after year.  All of our bat houses are CERTIFIED by Bat Conservation International and come with instructions and mounting screws. The Lone Star Woodcraft Bat Condo is 28″H x 28″W x 5″D, weighs 28 lbs. and made from 100% Western Red Cedar. All joints are half-lapped, caulked and sealed. Bat House Condo The ¼” ventilation gap allows for circulation and temperature variability. Inside, there are three interconnected chambers that allow the bats to move throughout the bat house for body temperature control and communication without re-exposing themselves to predators or the elements. There is also a birthing chamber / ledge strategically placed in the attic, providing the mother bats a place to set their pups while they are out hunting. (Double, triple and Condo models only) Each Lone Star Bat House is handmade and inspected before leaving our shop. Mounting holes are pre-drilled for your convenience. All exterior surfaces (except landing pad) are hand sanded to increase the aesthetic appearance. Each Lone Star Bat House adorns our trademark 3½” cast iron star and “Hand Crafted by Lone Star Woodcraft” brand.
