Description This adaptor allows to convert the end of your Compact extension lead or adaptor back to the 16A 3-phase red industrial connector used with the Gen1 Model S/X UMC. It’s the equivalent of second half of the three-phase letterbox adaptor. As of June 2019, this now appears to be a legacy adaptor and is no longer supplied with Model S, X or Model 3 orders, all of which come with the Gen2 UMC which requires the Compact Blue UMC adaptor instead. If you have a choice, the strong preference is for the Gen1 UMC (with the Red adaptor) as this allows the full 16A 3-phase / 11kW charging speeds.
